  1. Eczema

    Eczema is a kind of skin disorder in which the skin becomes inflamed, red, itchy, dry, cracked, swollen or blistered. In some cases,  rashes might develop on the entire body or several parts of the body.

  2. Different types of Eczema

    1. Atopic Eczema / dermatitis:

      It is the most common type of eczema usually found in childhood. Gets milder or disappears by adulthood. But can strike people at any age. It is a type of chronic inflammation that usually lasts for a long time. It may be triggered by changes in temperature, stress, chemicals or allergens. The patients suffering from Atopic eczema have a higher risk of developing allergic conditions like asthma or hay fever.

    2. Contact Eczema / dermatitis

      It is a type of eczema which people develop when they come in contact with certain substances. It has symptoms like that of atopic eczema except one clear difference that the patients show symptoms only when they come in contact with a specific substance. Substance vary from person to person. The reaction may be allergic or an irritant reaction.

      Irritant contact eczema / dermatitis

      This type of eczema results from repeated exposure to a substance that irritates the skin.

      Allergic contact eczema / dermatitis

      This occurs when the immune system of a person reacts very fast with a particular substance called an allergen.

    3. Dyshidrotic Eczema / dermatitis

      Clear, deep, small, itchy blisters that occur on the edges of the fingers, palms, toes, soles of feet etc,. This is more common in women then in men.

    4. Discoid Eczema / Nummular dermatitis

      This is a type of eczema in which people develop coin shaped round spots on their skin. This type looks very different from the normal eczema. And can itch a lot.

    5. Seborrheic Eczema / Dermatitis

      Seborrheic Eczema is also called as dandruff dermatitis. It causes the skin to fall off in flakes. Hence the name. This usually occurs due to overgrowth of yeast that resides in these areas. Or it could be due to rapid shedding of cells from the scalp.   This eczema occurs where there are more oil producing glands on the body, like the upper back, nose and scalp. People of any age may develop this. It is more commonly observed in men than women. People suffering from diseases that affect their immune system like, AIDS, Parkinson’s disease etc,. are believed to be at increased risk of developing seborrheic dermatitis.

    6. Varicose Eczema dermatitis

      Varicose eczema is also called as statis , venous or gravitational eczema. This type of eczema occurs usually in old people. With age, being less active can weaken the veins in his legs leading to varicose veins and varicose eczema. It is common in people aged 30 to 60.

    7. Asteatotic Eczema / dermatitis

      This eczema develops in people above age 60. Dry skin, cold weather and hot baths trigger this eczema.

      Perform fresh ablution (Wudu).
    2. Durud:
      Start the spiritual practice with the recitation of Durood e Shareef 3 times.
    3. Prayer:
      Then recite this prayer for 2222 times. اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَافِيَةَ وشفاء من شرالْداء ما أجد وأحاذر  (“Allahumma inni as-alukal a’afiyataw wa shifaam min sharrid daa-ee maa ajidu wa uh’aadhir”.)

      Keep the visualization of your need during recitation.
    5. Blow
      Blow on the zam zam water, medicines and ointments you use. Apply it.

    • Be Punctual with your 5 obligatory prayers and other compulsory deeds of Islam
    • Stay away from forbidden things.
    • Read Durood before and after every dua.

    • Practice it regularly. Better to perform it at a fixed place and time everyday.
