[Surah Nas verse 1] : O My Beloved! Say it with your blessed tongue so that with the effect of the prayer, the favourable effect of your blessed tongue, too, can be brought together.
[Surah Nas verse 1] : Almighty Allah is the Lord of the entire creation, but since the human being is the superior creation, specifically he is mentioned. It should be remembered that Lord is He who is Self-existent and is Present everywhere, at all times, unselfishly. His protection is provided in this world, in the world of souls, in the grave, and in the Hereafter. In short, everywhere. The Arabic word ”Abb”(father) is being that who provides sustenance and protection for a short time, or out of selfish motives. Thus, Allah Almighty is the Lord and not the father. Because a human being, in his childhood, obtains protection only, therefore, this characteristic or attribute is mentioned first.
[Surah Nas verse 2] : The true Master and King of everybody. Because in his youth a person digresses from his path out of frenzy and insensibility, he requires to be checked and placed under legal restrictions. For that reason, ”God of all ” is used here.
[Surah Nas verse 3] : The true object of worship and intent of every human being. Because a human being engages himself in the worship of Allah in his old age, the Divinity and adoration of Allah Almighty is mentioned at the end.
[Surah Nas verse 4] : It means Shaitaan, who places evil thoughts in the hearts of men. Evil thoughts are called ” Waswasa” (evil suggestion), while good thoughts are called ”llhaam”(inspiration). Evil suggestion is from Shaitaan, at the time of which one should recite ”La H’aula”; while Ilhaam or inspiration comes from Allah Almighty through the angels, for which one should express gratitude to your Creator. When the baser self, Nafs e Ammarah, gets the better of the person he will be plagued by many evil thoughts and suggestions; while in the overwhelming of the centered self, Nafs-e-Mutmainnah, the person will experience much inspiration.
[Surah Nas verse 4] : It means he does not mislead you through word and sound, but straight away exercises influence on your Heart. He makes evil appear as good. He is your enemy, but comes in the garb of a friend. May Allah Almighty protect us from him. Then he puts evil suggestions in accordance with the quality of the person.
[Surah Nas verse 5] : During negligence, Shaitaan places many evil suggestions in the heart of people, while during the time of remembrance of Allah Almighty, Shaitaan is overpowered. However, even in this state, he does his work . He places such evil intentions in the heart when the person is in Salaah. It should be remembered that Shaitaan is that enemy of ours who remains concealed from us, i.e. he can see us, but we cannot see him. Thus, seek protection and refuge from the All-Powerful Lord Who sees him and he cannot see Him. Seek protection against the powerful enemy from the Powerful Lord.
[Surah Nas verse 6] : This is the description of Shaitaan placing evil suggestions in the heart of man – that he is from the jinns as well as from humans. Many, totally misguided, people will come to you in the guise of well-wishers. If you listen to just one word of theirs, they will try to influence you in the future. But, if you keep them far away from the beginning, they will remain aloof from you. Do not be heedless of them. There are many dacoits of the treasures of faith. When going to bed, the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) would recite both these Surahs, then blow it on his blessed hands and rub his hands over his entire body. Every Muslim should act upon this practice.

[Surah Naas Ayat 4] : Murad isse Shaitaan hai.
[Surah Naas Ayat 5] : Yeh iski aadat hi hai keh jab insan ghafil hota hai toh iske dil mein waswase dalta hai. Jab insan ALLAH ka zikr karta hai toh dubak rehta hai aur hat jata hai.
[Surah Naas Ayat 6] : Yeh bayan hai waswase dalne wale ka keh yeh insanon mein se bhi hota hai au jinnon mein se bhi. Jaisa shayateen jinn insanon ko waswase mein dalte hain waise hi shayateen ins bhi naSeh bankar aadmi ke dil mein waswase dalte hain. Phir agar aadmi in waswason ko manta hai toh iska silsila aur badh jata hai aur khoob gumrah karte hain. Agar isse mutanfar hota hai toh hat jaate hain. Aur dubak rehte hain. Aadmi ko chahiye keh shayateene jinn ke shar se bhi panah maange aur shayateene ins ke shar se bhi. Bukhari wa Muslim ki hadith mein hai keh sayyid e aalam (sallallahu a’laihi wa sallam) shab ko jab bistar mubarak par tashreef late to apne donon daste mubarak ko jama farmakar Surah Ikhlas, Surah Falaq aur Surah Naas padhkar inme dam karte. Phir apne daste mubarak ko apne sar mubarak se lekar tamam jism e aqdas par phairte jahan tak daste mubarak pohunch sakte. Yeh amal 3 martaba farmate.
The Sunah Naas is very helpful in protecting you from sins. It acts as a powerful shield between you and the satanic evil recommendations.
